- This photo gave me an awesome idea…..we can use picture frames to add character and detail to our furniture pieces. They could be nailed or glued onto drawer facings, cabinet panes or even cut into pieces and placed around any of the pieces edges. There are so many different styles, sizes, and colors to choose from and can easily be painted to match any variety of colors. Cant wait to give it a try on one of my projects.
- Yes! Love the darker wood against the whiter, all the cabinetry has that handmade feel, like the lighting over the island, like the touch of Country French with the slotted open cabinet for dishes.
- New listing! I recently had a custom order for 2 Walnut guitar hangers. They turned out so nice I decided to add them to the available woods. As with all woods each piece will be unique with variations in the color and the wood grain. I make these wall hangers one at a time. The design is mine and really displays the instrument in a way that could be used in a dedicated music room, den or accent a wall in a living room. In selecting wood, I remain Eco-friendly, hand picking the woods used. They are constructed with glue and biscuit joints, then sanded, sealed, clear stained and then polished to a satin finish. A strip of felt is then attached to the inside of the hanger to protect the neck of the instrument. Wall mounting is accomplished with screws into studs or between studs with molly type fittings. The heads of the screws fit into two key holes on the back of the hangers so no mounting type is visible.
- Add a wire basket under you deck for additional outdoor storage space. What a great way to hide garden hoses, outdoor dog toys, or sport equipment.
