- When building or renovating a home, it is SO crazy how quickly everything adds up! One area that tends to add up quickly is tile flooring. Even in homes with high price tags, our team often goes big in places like the entry or master bathroom, but selects more budget-friendly tiles in places like the basement/kids bathrooms/mudrooms. I have found that the trick to selecting things on a budget is to pick classics. However, classics dont have to be boring! Make the room sing by laying the tiles in an interesting pattern, going high contrast with grout, or making a statement with other elements in the room like cabinetry/lighting/hardware/paint.
